Supervisory Program Manager (Deputy Regional Director), GS-0340-15, (Interior Regions 3, 4, 5) This position is located in the Office of the Regional Director, Interior Regions 3, 4, 5, and duty stationed in Omaha, NE in the Regional Office. The incumbent serves as one of three Deputy Regional Directors overseeing the operations of Interior Regions 3, 4, 5. The Deputy Regional Directors serve as a unified governing body under the Regional Director, referred to collectively as the Regional Directorate to provide leadership and direction to the strategic planning, management, and operation of National Park Service (NPS) functions and activities in thirteen (13) states located in the Midwest. The incumbent monitors and manages issues of sufficient consequence as to warrant the attention and action of the Regional Director, ensuring that appropriate parties are informed and engaged when and as needed to develop and deploy effective management solutions. Works to assist the Regional Director and his/her immediate staff in the formulation and implementation of short and long-range goals and objectives, such as organizational change and broad initiatives representing substantive change in the conduct of park business, to the extent that it can affect each employee in Interior Regions 3, 4, 5. All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-11/20/2020-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. For current Federal employees, if hours worked per week are not included on your resume, you must submit a non-award SF-50 as part of your application to be used to validate your work schedule and determine the amount of specialized experience that you will be granted. An award SF-50 will not be acceptable documentation for which to consider your amount of qualifying experience. For all other applicants who are not current federal employees, your resume must state either full-time (or 40 hours a week) or part-time with the number of hours worked per week to ensure proper crediting of specialized experience. For periods of time that reflect military service, the DD-214 or Statement of Service is sufficient to meet the full and/or part-time hours requirement as the service dates will be reflected. To qualify for this position at the GS-15 grade level, you must possess at least one full year of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
Experience:
At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as:
specialized experience which demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of (1) providing leadership and direction to the strategic planning, management, and operation of National Park Service functions and activities. (2) Monitoring and managing issues of sufficient consequence as to warrant the attention and action of the Regional Director. (3) Recommending to the Regional Director revisions to policies, programs, and procedures. (4) Working to assist the Regional Director in the formulation and implementation of short and long-range goals and objectives, such as organizational change and broad initiatives representing substantive change in the conduct of park business. To be qualifying, such experience must be equivalent to the GS-14 level in the federal service. . Volunteer

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
