As an Outside Sales Representative, you willplay a pivotal role in the continued stabilityand growth of our organization, by serving as a front-line representative of the Cox brand. In this role, you sellvideo, voice, data and home security services to residential customers viadoor-to-door canvassing within an assigned territory of single family units(SFU).
Performance iscritical to the achievement of department and company Primary Service Unit(PSU) growth and net gain objectives.

PrimaryResponsibilities and Essential Functions
Builds rapport andprovides excellent customer services to meet and exceed established goals andperformance levels in door to door sales. Drives maximum product penetrationand revenue generation in all assigned territories, nodes, or geographicalareas to former, new and existing customers via door-to-door sales.
Cold canvasses inassigned territory and makes sales presentation to non-subscribers and existingsubscribers for upgrades.
Generates and retainsPSUs through the acquisition of and retention of customers by using Cox trainedskill sets, programming and technical expertise, and makes the appropriaterecommendations for services using consultative sales skills. Implementseffective closing techniques to ensure sales goals are achieved.
Maximizes Cox's brand& image exposure in each community and ensures customer satisfaction andloyalty by assisting and resolving a wide variety of customer requests,inquiries and complaints verbally, face to face and in writing.
Builds customer loyaltyby effectively resolving any/all customer issues and differentiating Coxproducts from those of our competitors and communicating those differenceseffectively.
Minimize product churn byactively resolving concerns/issues efficiently and effectively through the use ofactive listening, personalizing techniques and by focusing on adding/buildingvalue.
Maintains clientsatisfaction and takes ownership throughout the sales cycle.
Performs end to end orderentry through provided technology.
Creates and maintainssuccessful interdepartmental relationships.
Participates in teamsales blitzes, conversions, and new releases; including weekend and eveningsales events.
Completes specialprojects and/or status reports as requested.
Introduces, markets andsells any new services.
Facilitates collection onbad debt accounts, picks up and returns customer equipment.
Updates and reports onall sales activities in assigned territories, nodes or geographical areas.
Works evenings andweekends to maximize customer contact.
Conducts all business inan ethical manner as outlined in the Channel Sales Standards of Performance andConduct.
Attends and participatesin all scheduled team meetings.
Maintains current jobknowledge through completion of on-going training opportunities, satisfactoryskills assessment scores, and attainment of job related certifications,including annual certification renewal/update as required.
May perform home securityconsultation appointments
Performs other duties as required.
Required
HS diploma, GED orrelevant work experience
Requires proficient knowledge of technicalapplications and tools
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, andcollaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
State licensing may be required to sell HomeSecurity
Preferred
1 year of experience preferred in related field (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, etc.)
AS/AA or Technical Certification in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.)
Experience in telecommunicationsindustry desired

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
