Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
The senior quality assurance analyst provides advanced expertise and guidance in the development of standards, procedures, tool selection and process improvement related to application development, maintenance, operation and system support activities.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Function)
Consults with the business units and information technology to translate functional requirements into executable tests of developed code.
Development and implementation of automated testing and develop System testing processes and procedures. HP/Mercury Quality Center and Quick Test Pro preferred toolset.
Contributes to information technology projects and initiatives helping aid project teams in the understanding and use of information technology standards and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining the Northern Natural Gas change management process and facilitating daily change control meetings.
Participates on appropriate Northern Natural Gas governance forums to help develop future strategies and provide information technology quality standards.
Provide technical input to assist in development of project planning.
Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a business-related field; or equivalent work experience. (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a Bachelor's degree).
Six years experience in information systems; three years experience as a quality assurance analyst or equivalent business experience.
Knowledge of change management, quality assurance skills and project life cycle.
Knowledge of report distribution and automated control balancing processes.
Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Effective interpersonal skills and customer relationship skills.
Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
