OVERVIEW OF JOB
Our Tutors will provide academic instruction to students on an individual or small-group basis to facilitate learning in a particular area of study. This position may also provide structured, research-based academic interventions in the areas of reading, math, spelling, and writing. While providing specialized instructions to students, you will work with students to improve academic performance and to prepare for tests by assisting with educational activities. Additional activities include, but are not limited to the following:
Teaches study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies.
Assesses student progress; evaluates and reports on progress.
Collaborates proactively with parents and staff to determine student needs and develop tutoring plans.
May complete a training program to implement interventions
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, OR SKILLS
Professionalism and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of academic excellence.
Ability to communicate with students and staff.
Ability to instruct, motivate, and encourage youth.
Ability to assist in assessing individual performance needs and in creating individual development plans.
Ability to provide appropriate coaching.
College experience may be preferred for some positions.
Previous experience is preferred.
An excelling GPA is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
