A Lot About You
This candidate will bepart of the Global Controllership team ensuring that operating expense isappropriately accounted. The ideal candidate would have experience with costaccounting, general ledger accounting as well as budgeting & forecasting.This role requires the candidate to have good technical skills and to beexperienced in strategic and analytical thinking with a firm emphasis onattention to detail. You will need to have the ability to work and communicateyour work clearly with various groups and staff/management of all levels.
Your Day
Collaborate withbusiness partners and accounts payable to facilitate monthly accrualcalculations
Maintain accurateasset subledger detail
Ensure that allaccrual reasonableness and that all accruals are adequately supported inaccordance with procedures and guidelines.
Gather, review andrecord journal entries.
Initiate and leadvarious process improvement projects, including:
the implementation ofpolicies, procedures, controls, and ad hoc analysis as needed.
Analyze, research andpresent monthly & quarterly variance analysis to management.
Work on multipleprojects simultaneously with keen understanding of deadlines.
Evaluate currentprocesses, recommend, and implement viable solutions.
Adapt and thrive in aconstantly changing environment, and above all having fun doing it.
You Must Have
Excellent attention todetail and analytical skills.
Minimum 5 years ofrelevant experience from industry.
A Bachelor's Degree inAccounting or Finance (CPA, CCA or Master's degree is preferred).
Desire to thrive undertight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
