Overview
Designs significant components of enterprise-wide technical solutions and implements related System i software and hardware components. Serves as the evangelist of the architectural vision, strategy, and principles to internal staff, customers, analysts, and executive leadership. Displays leadership both within assigned team as well as the larger IT division. Mentors and teaches other individuals in both technical and non-technical skills

Interprets, evaluates, resolves and tests client inquiries or issues regarding the functional operation of system hardware and software.
Designs and implements technical components of enterprise-wide systems.
Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
Performs proactive systems performance analysis and tuning.
Serves as technical expert in design, development, and integration of both hardware and software.
Assists with application performance analysis.
Demonstrates highest technical competency in all phases of systems or applications.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Information Science or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
At least 7 years of broad, in-depth and varying technical experience with IBM i and Power Systems, with current knowledge of the latest advances in the OS and hardware architecture.Hands-on experience with and technical knowledge of the following vendor products: Mimix, Aldon LMi, BRMS, Robot Scheduler. Knowledge of MPG Performance Navigator, iDoctor, Rational, InfoSphere CDC (DataMirror) a plus.Enterprise experience leading to understanding of the interactions and dependencies with LAN/WAN technologies including Storage Area Networks, Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Communication Protocols.
COMPETENCIES SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
