rated property/casualty insurance company with an immediate opening for an entry level underwriting professional. Responsibilities include identifying and evaluating commercial auto risks and determining conditions of acceptability.
Our position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to handle a wide range of issues. You must be comfortable making underwriting decisions over the phone with our agents, working on computers, and solving problems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in business, math or related field or equivalent
Knowledge of basic math
Ability to solve problems and make decisions
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multi-task
