Water/Mold Mitigation Technician
Belfor Property Restoration -- Omaha is seeking to hire a Water Mitigation Technician. In this position, you will be responsible for responding to water/mold/fire damaged structures both residential and commercial. As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be part of a team that will plan, implement and monitor each site until completion.
Responsibilities:
Ability to communicate with a variety of customers
Inspect properties for water/mold damage and aid in the development of a drying plan which includes the setup of drying equipment, taking moisture readings, monitoring temperature, relative humidity and specific humidity.
Extract water from flooded structures
Remove damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, and cabinets
Clean and maintain all tools, equipment and supplies
Maintain a clean assigned vehicle
Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize proprietary software if required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

years-experience working on water and fire losses
IICRC in Water Restoration Technician
1
years-experience working with mold is a plus
Construction experience (ability to safely utilize power/hand tools, read tape measure accurately)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a routine basis
Must be detail oriented
Ability to maintain a quality and service oriented attitude
Ability to handle emergency calls on a 24 hour basis when on call
Must have a clean driving record. Ability to operate up to a 28ft box truck safely.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Able to work in a fast paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
Good analytical and diagnostic skills
Must possess strong reading, writing and communication skills
