Hours: 8:30AM--5:00PM M-F
Creatively design art and copy for packaging, marketing materials and company website.
Responsibilities
Design concept-to-shelf creative assets for multiple sales channels, including retail merchandising.
Collaborate with internal and external product designers and developers.
Creative writing ranging from product packaging to SEO-rich website content.
Comprehension of and proven ability to design for digital outlets.
Engage in marketing strategy development and translate objectives into strategic, purposeful design.
Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials. Plan concept by studying information and materials. Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts. Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval. Prepare finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors. Prepare final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art. Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualified candidates will possess:
College degree or equivalent experience.
Exceptional graphic design, layout and creative writing skills.
Proven customer focused experience in similar positions and environment.
Excellent attention to detail and quality.
Strong desktop publishing tools.
Passion for packaging design.
