Key Role:
Serve as a 3D Modeler to support Booz Allen Hamilton MI/Cyber Account Group. Apply experience with polygonal and sculpting to deliver photo-realistic 3D characters using industry software, including Maya, Modo, Zbrush, Mudbox, and Blender 3D. Visualize, gather, reference, and work collaboratively to create and deliver high-end 3D models for games and visual effects. Work with a team to develop and implement novel solutions to complex and open-ended problems in training courseware. Take direction from leads and contribute new concepts for projects during design and development phases. Meet development schedules and support integration and test of the developed applications. Participate in design reviews for software under development. This position is located in Omaha, NE.
Basic
Qualifications:
-2 years of experience with animation, VFX, or the video game industry, sculpting, or polygonal modeling
-2 years of experience with using Maya, Modo, or Zbrush
-Experience with UV Mapping
-Experience with xNormal or equivalent software
-Ability to work well in teams consisting of rigging, animation, and character design
-Ability to be detail-oriented and work efficiently within a production environment
-Ability to provide a Demo reel required
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-AA or AS degree in Computer Modeling, Computer Animation, Digital Arts, or Game Design or 1 years of experience with animation or the video game industry
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with character animation
-Experience with game design
-Experience with facial blend shape targets
-Experience with scripting in MEL, Python, or Perl a plus
-Experience with 2D reference art a plus
-Knowledge of a related field, including anatomy
-Ability to be highly motivated and a self-starter
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent problem solving skills
