## General Summary
The Senior Ecommerce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the retail environment for e-commerce.
## Responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and maintain e-commerce Retail solutions.
2. Transforms complex business requirements into candidate technical solutions.
3. Review pros and cons of design and implementation options with internal teams and vendors.
4. Define design and development standards adapted for ecommerce development.
5. Provide inputs and direction to the team for design and implementation on ecommerce platform.
6. Participate in all aspects of software development, including requirements analysis, estimation, software design and implementation, testing, and deployment.
7. Resolve technical problems related to the e-commerce implementation.
8. Proactively engage with Stakeholders and IT teams to meet business goals.
9. Work effectively with others to design solutions and resolve issues.
10. Excellent communication skills.
11. Provide on-call support.
12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
13. Must be at work on a regular and predictable basis or as scheduled.
## Education and Qualifications
1. Experienced in eCommerce, order management and third party integrations.
2. Understanding of e-commerce backend integrations such as Address/shipping/tax validation, Payment authorization, CRM, OMS, and Order fulfillment.
3. Experienced in setting up e-commerce feeds such as price, inventory, and sales.
4. Skilled in JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5, and PHP.
5. Understanding of deployment specific to SaaS based cloud environment.
6. Good understanding of object oriented programming and relational databases.
7. Strong working knowledge of SOA design patterns and JSON.
8. Prior experience working in a contract-driven software environment a plus.
9. Prior experience with WADL or WSDL a plus.
10. Prior experience with retail e-commerce domain is a plus.
11. Bachelor's degree preferred.
12. 5-7 years experience in software development.
13. 3-5 years of experience in developing e-commerce solutions.
14. Experience in agile development methodologies preferred.
15. Experience in the design and implementation of J2EE-based e-commerce platforms preferred.
