This is a Permanent hire position with one of our client companies in Omaha, NE. Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and administrating our hosted and internal Windows based servers and network. This will include maintenance and support of all desktops, servers, networking equipment and associated peripherals in our internal and hosted environments. Candidate must be able to work independently at a fast pace in a high tech company. Duties may include set up and maintenance of user accounts, installation of hardware/software, maintenance of system documentation, troubleshooting and general help desk support. This is a Permanent (Direct) Hire position with a base salary up to $60K. Required Skills: Maintenance, support and implementation of a Windows based network including: -Windows Server 2008/2008R2, Active Directory, Exchange 2007, SQL 2008, IIS 7 and NAS servers and Windows based Clients (Windows 7/8/Windows XP) -Network based hardware configuration and support experience including Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless devices Will include maintenance and implementation of Third Party Software applications including: Hyland OnBase Document Management Systems Kofax Ascent Capture systems Various ERP Packages Requirements: -1-3 years of experience administering a windows based network including IIS, Security and User Management, Disaster Recovery, and Documentation -1-3 years of experience supporting systems in a 24X7, high availability environment -1-3 years of experience administering MS-SQL -Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills -Strong analytical and organizational skills with emphasis on attention to details -The ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion -The ability to follow best practices and prescribed development methodologies in the performance of the above duties -Ensure consistent level of quality in the design and implementation of software solutions -Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related degree Preferred Skills: -Microsoft Certified Professional certification is strongly preferred -Experience in software configuration management Scripting experience in VBScript, Powershell or other a plus For immediate and confidential consideration on this Permanent / Direct hire Systems Administrator opportunity, please call me directly, Samuel Burt Recruiting Manager, Technology Permanent Placement Division, Iowa Region at , and e-mail resume confidentially to sam.
