We are currently looking for an Actuary and Manager.
The Actuary & Manager will be responsible for supporting actuarial relationships with the business leaders for assigned segments, conducting profitability analysis and supporting execution of profitability action plans. Demonstrates a deep knowledge of the property & casualty industry, products and customers. Consults with non-actuaries to understand needs and resolve business needs is a must. May supervise and oversee the work of less experienced actuaries.
Job Qualifications
Basic Qualification:
o 5 or more Actuarial experience.
o Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with a mathematical, statistical or numerate background.
o Successful completion of an ACAS designation.
o Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of an expert practitioner who has progressed within actuarial positions of increasing responsibility typically seen in 5 or more years of related experience.
o Demonstrated skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
o Demonstrated written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
Qualifications:
o Previous experience managing direct reports.
o Experience in multiple functional areas (pricing, reserving, capital management, etc.) and in multiple business units.
o Successful completion of an FCAS designation.
