Job Description Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables. Performs additional job duties as required. Leads complex projects and issues within functional technical area and cross functional area Works independently with IT functional units and business units. Recommends strategies for technical aspects of projects as well as broad system improvements.
Candidate Requirements Configure, support, and troubleshoot the following middleware:
Ruby-on-Rails - Required
JBOSS--Required/Standard
Websphere-Required/Standard
Tomcat-Required
Oracle AS-Optional Coldfusion-Optional
Optional
Strong Unix Background in order to work in the Linux, Solaris, AIX environments we support. Knowledgeable regarding Unix permissions
Understanding of Networking and load balancers to request the rules and help the network team in debugging and implementation
Understanding of Firewalls to request firewall rules
Ability to work with Project plans
Ability to Troubleshoot, Take Thread dumps, heap dumps; Analyze the dumps and pinpoint the issue
Strong Communication Skills/Team Player
Provide 24x7 Oncall support
Follow Standards and Guidelines
5 plus years experience in systems administration and Websphere/middleware.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related.
Preferred Qualifications 8
yrs. of related technical experience. MS/BS or equivalent work experience. Appropriate Certifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
