West is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Technical Project Admin with a proven track record of managing various IT initiatives. The Project Admin will provide leadership and direction on all assigned technical projects, ensuring follow through from beginning to end, and will act as the customer contact and advocate for both the customer and the functional teams involved. The candidate is responsible for managing all aspects of the projects assigned to them including, but not limited to; developing and reviewing project requirements, project plans, schedules, budgets, design reviews, implementation or installation plans and ensuring completion of all deliverables within the project(s). The candidate will need to be able to identify risks to projects and develop contingency plans for these risks. Communication skills will be key, as audiences will vary from Senior Level Executives to Project Team members, and the candidate will need to be able to deliver a clear and concise message to all parties involved with the project(s).Customer collaboration and timely communication to all groups involved in the project will be crucial.This position will also have duties and responsibilities around Hardware and Equipment procurement. They will be responsible for supporting Procurement requests from the Project Management Office, as well as other resource teams within the Enterprise organization. They will provide updates in regards to when the purchase request(s) was submitted, approved, and a PO issued to various vendors.

- Must have excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, ability to bring various personality styles together to complete project(s) at hand.
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment, adapting to flexible schedules and prioritizing/organizing work.
- Ensure development /execution of project plans that define activities, dependencies and deliverables.
- Lead project teams throughout the Project Life Cycle including requirements analysis, design, prototype, build, test, deployment and transition.
- Collaborate with team members in project effort analysis, issues management, risk management and quality assurance.
- Manage project quality to ensure customer expectations are fulfilled through the delivery of project objectives.
- Manage the project budget to insure the project is executed within budget.
- Perform change management for the project as to scope, schedule and budget. Manage client expectations for timely review and approval of change orders.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams to ensure that priorities and direction are aligned with the project goals
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, program managers and engineers to build consensus around architectural solutions, define high-level and detailed requirements, and deliver projects successfully.
- Ability to manage on-site and remote team resources in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform risk analysis, issue management, and thorough status reporting.
- Establish and enforce best practice processes.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience with Infrastructure builds; Network, Telecom, and Hardware (servers, storage, routers) implementations a plus, but not required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University with major course work in computer science, MIS, or business administration required.
Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements. Experience
Minimum of one year of Information Technology, project management, account management experience (e.g., programming, technical support, etc.) required.
Advanced work in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree (e.g., junior and senior year, etc.) in computer science, MIS or business administration can be substituted for one year of experience.
Other:
Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel required Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project and SharePoint or similar online collaboration software preferred
Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred
