# Job Description
Serves as a conduit between the customer community (primarily internal customers, but possibly external as well) and software development teams through which requirements flow. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams, and support teams. Analyze and develop user interface wireframe specifications according to standard templates, using visual representations and natural language. Establish and guide standards, templates and tooling choices. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Translates business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for the IT organization, and manages changes to such requirements. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as needed. Translates high-level, complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and manages changes to such requirements. Gathers information about the organization's work processes and information flows. Performs additional job duties as required.
# Job Specific Responsibilities
Candidate will act as a UX and Wireframe Application Analyst, helping to design, document and communicate technology solutions for online portal and reporting applications
Works with IT management and Product Owners to define, develop, and drive user experience strategy related to internet-facing web applications and portals geared toward customer self-service in the Small/Medium Business space.
Is proactive in championing creative / new user experience solutions.
Stays well informed about emerging tooling, techniques, standards, and practices related to web user experience, enterprise web application development, and mobile application integration initiatives.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for functional system improvements.
Serves as a subject matter expert on the functional behavior of our key web properties, acting as a point of contact for requirements analysis and helping with project estimation.
Helps define tooling, techniques, standards, and templates for specifying user experience throughout the enterprise.
Demonstrates strong directional app behavior leadership on projects. Coaches and, in some circumstances, leads development team members, often delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.
Independently works with functional and business units to execute strategy.
Serves as an application behavior escalation point for supporting team members in resolving design issues and/or any ongoing execution difficulties.
# Candidate Requirements
Advanced knowledge of and experience with effective user experience design.
Knowledge in and enthusiasm for effectively communicating designs using wireframes and app behavior specification documents

years performing user experience design for non-trivial internet-facing digital properties, especially situations involving integrating with heritage platforms to enable valuable web features
3
years of experience developing user experience for web applications oriented toward customer self-service
3
years of experience with Agile development planning
Working knowledge of a modern, full-featured web content management system
Direct experience working with testing/QA staff regarding testing techniques for web applications
Direct experience and comfort mentoring more junior staff.
Well-informed on emerging tools and techniques for user experience, and possessing broad-based knowledge of the enterprise and industry.
# Preferred Qualifications
5
years of experience creating wireframes using a leading or popular tool set, including but not limited to Visio, Balsamiq, Photoshop, and Gliffy.
5
yrs. of related IT experience. Bachelor's Degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience.
3
years of experience with specifying effective user experience for applications that integrate heritage software systems, especially for the purpose of exposing new functionality to the internet-facing web
Direct experience with a modern, full-featured web content management system
Direct experience with Cloud-based computing platforms
Strong knowledge of Adobe CQ5 is a big plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
