We are looking to hire a Sr IT Systems Analyst to join our Analytics and Reporting team on a fulltime basis! This Sr Analyst will be gathering and documenting business requirements, and providing potential solutions for business problems. This solution work will involve, working closely with BI Architecture, BI Data Modeling, and BI development teams. Must demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, communication, writing, and presentation skills. Sr IT Systems Analysts are the key interface to the other application product teams and analysts for solving complex problems. This is an Agile, rapid development environment, so we need someone who is fast, flexible, and adaptable. We are looking for a Sr Analyst who is highly motivated and self-directed, with strong verbal and written communication, who is customer-oriented, great at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and teammates, and who has a good understanding of SAP ECC, CRM, SRM and CLM.
Sr IT Systems Analyst will operate under general or minimum supervision and work with teams to capture business processes, conduct assessments and document processes. Sr Business Analyst will follow a list of defined tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, as well as recommend solutions that enable the organization to meet its goals. This position is 40% gathering requirements and 40% prototyping solutions and 20% building solutions. We would consider an Analyst with7
years' experience with SAP applications. Knowledge of SQL / SSRS is nice to have, but not required.
This position contributes to the overall governance, execution and quality of the Analytics and Reporting team and its general support functions. The position supports the BI architects and BI data modelers with application knowledge and best practices to source SAP data to solve business requirements. The position helps to reduce costs and provide consistency through the Kiewit organization using the effective use of controls, processes and procedures that support the Analytics and Reporting team.
Responsibilities:
o Consults with Business Partners and Application Product Teams to identify, define and document business needs and objectives and translate them to technical requirements
o Acts as a liaison between business analysts, reporting developers, BI architects, data modelers, and project managers in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of reporting systems to ensure optimal operational performance
o Support BI architecture team on proof of concepts
o Defines and documents business partner's data requirements
o Analyzes the technical feasibility of, and develops technical requirements for new and existing data models and reports
o Tracks and fully documents changes for technical designs and specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training
o Identifies opportunities for improving business reporting processes through the initiation, define and design proposals that present operational changes, enhancements or new requests for the Analytics and Reporting team
o Key participant in technical unit test planning and participates in functional unit testing, and supports business partners in integration testing and user acceptance testing
o Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff around SAP source systems and integration to SAP systems
o Ability to grasp complex business process and scenarios
Qualifications:
o Possess a thorough understanding of requirements gathering and data analysis best practices
o 7
years SAP Systems Analyst experience with the following modules: PS, SD, CO, FI, RRB, MM, HR/HCM
o Worked in 3
full lifecycle SAP implementations and at least one support project
o 1-2 years BI experience sourcing data from SAP source applications preferred
o Experience working with Hard Dollar and Hard Dollar/SAP integration highly preferred
o Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred
o 5
years of domain experience in Engineering and Construction processes required
o Includes Project Cost Management, Project Controls, and Earned Value expertise
o Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, Visio
o Experience with Microsoft SQL / SSRS nice to have
o Knowledge of principles and processes of SDLC methodologies and Project Management Offices
o Experience in an Agile development environment preferred
o Demonstrate initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standards
