This position is the Global PeopleSoft system administrator and will provide technical support for various components of the PeopleSoft application. The primary focus will be on ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the PeopleSoft application and ensuring it's ability to support a global community.
Provide global production support for PeopleSoft application. This includes identification, analysis and root cause resolution with various support and management teams. In addition, provide off hours support as needed.
Administer production migrations for application changes.
Administer all system changes and upgrades for all tool related changes to the application.
Apply vendor patches, upgrades and tax updates.
Maintain and administer all UNIX and Windows scripts related to system functions.
Administer and provide production support for interface processing for Global PeopleSoft system. This includes interface protocols, PGP encryption, and proprietary software maintenance.
Architect landscape strategies for hardware refreshes and disaster recovery solutions.
Develop, test and implement hardware refreshes and disaster recovery solutions.
Design backup and recovery strategies.
Participate in technical unit, technical integration, technical regression, technical system and stress testing activities.
Application monitoring.
Ensure that best practices/SOX compliant procedures are utilized.
Coordinate, and provide significant input to technical project planning.
Track application performance metrics and report out to management.
Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
Maintain system services, including application servers and services, web servers and services, process scheduler servers and services, and file server and services.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

years experience with 3rd party applications.

years experience in Unix and Windows Scripting and FTP

years experience in a production support environment as a PeopleSoft system administrator, including 1
year experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting People Tools 8.53,Oracle & HCM 9.2 applications in multi-tiered Linux/Unix based environment
Knowledge in setup of Integration Broker and its components and associated troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search and configuration with PeopleSoft system a plus
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Update Manager, Virtual Box and new Release management methodology
Working knowledge in troubleshooting Portal technologies (dashboard, pagelets, navigation collections, activity guides etc) , BI Publisher, AWE/Workflow (Approval Workflow Engine)
3-5 years experience with project management principles and techniques.
Knowledge with Weblogic, Tuxedo and Oracle required.
Experience in Global PeopleSoft system preferred.
Experience in Multi-Language PeopleSoft system preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under tight timelines and multi-task.
