Description:
Our client is seeking a UI/UX Designer to rapidly analyze requirements and develop navigation flows, site maps, wireframes, and interface design/functional specs to provide a positive user experience for application users. This role will liaise between the customer service and business development team and IT teams. Candidate must possess the ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters into clean, understandable solutions and must have a passion for great design, a superb aesthetic sense, an exceptional eye for detail, and a deep appreciation for user experience in data analysis.
Responsibilities:
Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions
Apply knowledge of usability, human factors, and the UX process to complete user experience of the product
Develop mockup / prototype interaction designs, including user interaction models, information architecture, wire frames and screen flows
Create and effectively present UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, etc.) to explain and negotiate design solutions to key stakeholders
Collaborate with developers in solving problems in an iterative fashion through brainstorming, prototyping, building and maintaining artifacts and solutions
Recommend and develop core styling / theme for UI framework (e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.)
Required Skills:
3
years of experience in Interaction Design, Usability Engineering, Information Architecture, or UI Design of Web-based applications
3
years of experience in designing and prototyping for web applications
Design fundamentals including information design, visual design, industry UI standards for eCommerce applications, and ease of use best practices
Ability to quickly deliver wireframes, UX flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, design specifications, and final assets
Expert level knowledge and experience in latest standards and web technologies (JavaScript / UI frameworks, HTML 5, CSS, mobile responsive web design, etc)
Experience across the UX spectrum: visual design, interface design, interaction design, conceptual modeling and user research
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Information Design, Visual Design, Digital Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
