Job Description:
Your Piece of the PuzzleAt NFM, our Electricians perform routine service, diagnose/repair existing electrical systems, complete installations and assist vendors on larger and smaller scale electrical systems, phone, video, computer and security equipmentOur world class facility offers multiple opportunities for you to put your skills to work.
Job Duties:
A Day in the Lifeo Sustain:
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus such as primary and secondary switchgear, distribution gear, transformers, UPS systems, motor control systems, diesel and natural gas generators, electronic controls serving energy management systems, and lighting equipmento Replace:
Re-wire electric motors, bearings, and componentso Perform:
Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipmento Collaborate:
Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, electrical apparatus, and electrical controls in buildings automation systemso Support:
Assist other areas with cabling, troubleshooting, and repairing of phone, video, computer, or security equipmentYour work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love--because that's what we love.
Qualifications:
Can You Check These Boxes?o High School Diploma or GED preferredo Electrician's license requiredo 4 years of experience as an electrician required, Master electrician required in KCo Technical certification preferredo Systimax certification preferredo Knowledge of computer programs and ability to read blueprints requiredo Valid driver's license and ongoing acceptable driving record - Missouri residents must have a Class E driver's licenseo Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needso Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, drug screen and criminal background check
