This position is based out of our global headquarters office in Omaha, NEWe are seeking a Managing Director of Information Technology to direct the efficient operation of our information technology platforms.
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will assist to establish the strategic path and direct the daily operations of the key pillars of our global IT function including network infrastructure, end-user support, application platform support, information technology asset management, communications and collaboration tools, software development, and cyber-security.
As a leader of people, you will set the tone and vision of a team of 250
IT professionals from around the world.
You will establish direction to drive key technologies and the associated support functions related to practices, processes and policies that will help provide the company with a competitive technology advantage in the markets we serve.
You will be a partnering visionary to maximize technology with the goal of smarter, faster, more efficient solutions enabled by technology for our internal and external clients.
This role will align policies, budget, resources, and responsibilities for the Information Technology Group at HDR.
You will partner with the leadership of our ERP and Applied Technology teams to maximize potential of our technical resources with the goal of creating enterprise client solutions.
More specific duties include:
Oversight and direction of daily IT operations to include networks, technology infrastructure, desktop support, application platform support, communication platforms, IT asset management, internal corporate software solutions, and cybersecurityProvides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information technology systems for the company to ensure the capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company s growth and objectivesAdvises senior management on strategic systems direction, operation, conversion, integration, and cybersecurityMaintain and enhance protocols for business continuity and disaster recoveryOversees infrastructure and operations information data systems, including data centers, outsourced services and networkManage budgetary resources to ensure proper solutions to support the businessMaintain a focus on supporting applications that meet business objectivesMaintain an IT asset management inventory and facilitate the renewal of software license agreementsLead technology implementation programs ensuring project timelines, scope and schedule are met and communicatedDevelops and maintains relationships with vendors, service provider and external leaders in technologyFamiliarity with Information Security standards and practices such as NIST 800-171 and ISO 27001Remain up-to-date on current initiatives, technical strategies and product roadmaps to provide appropriate direction and insight into work across the organization, inform the team how their work fits into the strategic goals, and how the team s work aligns with other product delivery outcomes or technology strategiesConfers with the information technology management to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives Participate in the enterprise technology review committee#LI-BK1Qualifications15
years experience working in an IT-related field, with at least 10 years in a leadership role, identifying and solving business problems through the application of technologyBachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Equivalent relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degreeWorking knowledge at a leadership level of current technology systems, including servers, storage, networking, cybersecurity, public and private cloud-hosted applications, data management, workstation, and mobility technologiesA working knowledge of software development and integration methodologiesEffective skills in negotiation, contracting and change managementAbility to coordinate multiple programs and projects with competing prioritiesSuperior verbal and written communication skillsA commitment to our employee-ownership cultureAbility to travel 10% of timePosition located in corporate HQ in Omaha, NE Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of common software solutions used in the AE industryMaster s degree in computer MIS, Computer Science, or related fieldSpecific experience with financial management for information systems and budgetingExposure to international operations support is desirableFamiliarity with Department of Defense (DOD) information technology requirementsJob Field:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
