Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee electrical department - including people management Design and analysis of electrical power distribution systems, and lighting systems Design and analysis of low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, communications, security, public address, etc.
Manage calculations related to electrical systems Proficient in electrical systems design software Creation of electrical drawings and specifications Review all submittals from contractors and respond to contractor questions
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
Professional Engineering License in Nebraska or Iowa Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and low voltage.
Proficiency in using engineering software, particularly Revit.
Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes, electrical codes, and industry standards.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Strong leadership and project management abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, and clients.
