JOB
Summary:
The Servants of Mary Operations Director is a newly created position, tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization.
The position provides oversight, leadership and direction in the areas of Finance, Development, Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology, and other functions of the organization.
The Operations Director directs systems and processes in accordance with the organization's mission, goals, objectives and applicable compliance.
The position is responsible for oversight of the annual operating budget, departmental staff, financial reporting and policies and procedures.
The position requires a high level of confidentiality.
The Operations Director is responsible to the Prioress and/or Leadership Team.

Collaborate with the Prioress and/or Leadership Team in the daily operations of the Community.
Remain up to date on nonprofit best practices including state and federal law regarding nonprofit organizations.
Provide strategic input on decision-making issues affecting the Community.
Coordinate currently outsourced finances.
Create long-range strategic plans as well as short-range operating plans.
Monitor, analyze and evaluate the activities and performance effectiveness of assigned areas of responsibility.
Carry out additional duties as requested by the Prioress and/or Leadership Team.
Administrative
Responsibilities:
Oversee activities of departments within the organization to ensure operation objectives and results are in accord with overall needs of the organization.
Create an administration structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth opportunities.
Review, advise and monitor property, casualty, and other business insurance needs and executive contracts to ensure risk management and adequate coverage of organization assets.
Develop with the Prioress and/or Leadership Team and enact contingency plans in the event of disaster, data loss or breach, or similar.
Information Technology
Responsibilities:
Oversee Information Technology system and phone system including call management ensuring callers to the organization receive efficient service.
Ensure that telecommunications and computers adequately meet organizational needs for technology.
Human Resource Management
Responsibilities:
Oversee organizational compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations related to employment issues.
Collaborate with Prioress and/or Leadership Team regarding HR functions concerning benefits, hiring, orientation, discipline and separation matters.
Qualifications:
Commitment to the mission and charism of the Servants of Mary.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management and forecasting methods.
Experience selecting and overseeing software installations:
knowledge of accounting, reporting and development software.
Basic financial background.
Excellent interpersonal, management and leadership abilities; able to coach, equip and develop individuals.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Business/Finance.
Master's degree preferred.
At least 5 years of operations/administration experience, 10 years preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Organizational and time management skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
