This position leads all marketing activities throughout the organization, which includes planning, organizing, training, and managing marketing functions to achieve company objectives of profitability, visibility, and leadership in the market.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Vision, Strategy, and Leadership Develop and implement an integrated strategic marketing and communications plan to revitalize Banyan's brand identity; broaden awareness of its solutions and outcomes; and increase the visibility of its solutions across key target markets.
Create marketing/public relations strategy that will allow Banyan leadership to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences, including the media and key stakeholders.
Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the company, working with leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external marketing and communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them.
Develop essential elements of Banyan's messaging and value proposition, with the goal of establishing both market and thought leadership, reflected in increased revenue and market share.
Serve as marketing and communications subject matter expert, both internally and externally, as well as media contact for all media-related initiatives and events.
Operations Work closely with Sales, Product Management, IT/R&D, and other key departments to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies for Banyan's solutions.
Identify, interpret and leverage marketing trends, as well as customer information and insights gained through Sales and Account Management activities, with the objective of acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers.
Oversee development of all communications including marketing collateral, electronic communications, website content, event materials, and digital and social media Develop event strategy to determine the right mix of conferences and participation levels, giving priority to events that provide speaking opportunities for Banyan customers to share their outcomes.
Manage relationships with vendors and all other third-party firms.
Team Development/Management Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Marketing Department, including budgeting, planning and staff development.
Recruit and manage appropriate Marketing staff to support the development and execution of the marketing and communications strategy.
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to Banyan's mission, vision and values.
Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications, media relations, and marketing operations to advance Banyan's mission and goals.
Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships with strategic partners to support profitability, visibility and leadership objectives.
Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and results.
Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a marketing team.
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs.
Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, staff, prospects and customers.
Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as a strategic thinker.

Experience:
Minimum 7-8years of experience in marketing and communications Marketing experience across different disciplines such as public relations, advertising, digital media desired.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field is required; MBA preferred 5 years Healthcare industry experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
