Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Financial Planning & Analysis Manager This individual is the key finance business partner to the Chief Technology Officer and Legal General Council.Responsible for executive management reporting, lead for corporate overhead reporting and prepares board of director and executive financial presentation support materials. This individual will be responsible for leading and directing the duties of a team of financial analysts, developing dashboards, providing analysis to business partners to make decisions including variance reporting, forecasting, budgeting, assisting in strategic initiatives and other special projects. his position will report to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Key Responsibilities Finance business partner and go-to resource to the Chief Technology Officer and Legal General Council. Key finance business partner who supports the annual budgeting process, forecasting, monthly financial and key metric reporting, and variance analysis. Creates intuitive visualizations and dashboards to provide insights to the Executive Leadership team and business partners on key performance indicators, financial metrics and analysis. Lead and direct team of financial analysts with a focus on team building, standardization, collaboration, and development of best practices. Focus on analysis and providing value-add insight to our business partners. Ability to communicate financials to non-financial business partners. Communicates with Executive stakeholders on a regular, ongoing basis. Owner of Executive company-level monthly reporting (HDR Inc Rollup and Corporate Overhead).Presents financials to the Chief Financial Officer monthly. Collaborates with members of Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Hyperion, and Operations teams for process improvements and delivers appropriate analyses and solutions for management reporting. Provide insight and analysis on complex financial, key performance indicators, and operational metrics. Drives for continual improvement, process efficiencies and automation to provide our business partners accurate and timely financial reporting. Document processes and define key metrics; communicates with Executive stakeholders as appropriate. Perform quality control over all management reports of team members. Special projects as assigned by supervisor, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Chief Financial Officer and/or others. LI-BC1QualificationsDesired Skills and Experience 8 years' experience in a large organization serving in a finance or accounting role required. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business analytics, mathematics, economics or applicable field.Master's degree a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical as this role will present analysis and interact directly with Senior Executives and all levels of management. Must be able to present financial information to finance and non-financial users in a succinct and easily understandable manner.This individual must excel at telling the story of the financials and key performance indicators. Strong leadership skills and ability to bring a cohesive approach to processes in a matrix organizational structure. Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Willing to dig into the details of the data. Ideal candidate is highly organized and detailed oriented, questions the status quo and is always seeking process improvement and efficiencies in reporting to deliver timely, quality and accurate management reporting. Experience with Oracle's E-Business Suite, Business Intelligence, Hyperion applications and Microsoft Power BI and creating dashboards, a plus. Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
