Works with members of the fabrication team to provide fabricated components to the assembly areas in a timely mannerPrimarily will operate the CNC laser, waterjet, and brake press; however, other fabrication responsibilities will applyJob Responsibilities of the Fabrication & Assembly Worker :
oRequired to effectively operate the machines in the fabrication department.oIndividuals must be accurate in recording inventory transactions and labor times.oUnderstanding where to find information, such as inventory levels, in SAP is necessary.oInternal motivation to see the successful implementation of laser, waterjet, and brake press.oMIG/TIG Welding/Certification.oContinuously looking for opportunities to fabricate items more efficiently and documenting the savings.RequirementsEducation & Experience of the Fabrication & Assembly Worker:
Have a minimum of 2 -5 years of experience in a fabrication and job shop environment Have experience operating the following machines; auto saw, shear, ironworker, press brake, CNC plasma table, laser jet, water jet, tube bender Would prefer to have someone with programming and layout experience with CNC nesting software Must be able to read blueprints Recommended Skills Assembly And Installation Industrial Laser Tasking Job Shops Manufacturing Sap Is U Technical Drawings Apply to this job.
