We are currently seeking a dynamic, innovative, and highly motivated individual for the role of Permanent Director of Commissioning in our Engineering division.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading-edge company specialized in the engineering industry.
This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, overseeing facility operations, and managing capital expenditure.
You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the commissioning department, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the commissioning department, ensuring all Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) systems are correctly designed, installed, tested, and maintained.
Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and capital expenditure (capex) within the commissioning department.
Oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring that all facilities are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
Manage the production planning process, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and implement a robust project management system, ensuring that all projects are effectively planned, managed, and delivered.
Lead the building and MEP commissioning process, ensuring that all systems are correctly integrated and functioning as intended.
Develop and implement a robust quality assurance process, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
Manage the project planning process, ensuring that all projects are effectively planned, managed, and delivered.
Work closely with other department heads to ensure that all projects are effectively integrated and coordinated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5
years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
Proven experience in Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP), continuous improvement, facility operations, production planning, project management, building commissioning, MEP commissioning, system integration, quality assurance, cost reduction, capital expenditure (capex), project planning.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
