Support all corporate objectives and policies.
Work together with the Market Development Manager to ensure SMOs achieve sales and profit goals.
Monitor and Coordinate Special Projects within SMO Americas.
Assist in coordination of special projects interface between SMOs and Centers of Excellence (COE).
Provide insight to Market Development Manager to develop and execute annual Strategic Market Development Plan.
Interact with key market accounts for product management, pricing, and sales.
Participate in routine visits to key customers for organization and product promotion.
Provide technical application support to the outside sales members of the SMOs.
Help train domestic sales forces on how to effectively sell to related market segments.
Work with Market Development Manager to identify business opportunities and increase sales for the respective market.
Work with SMO Manager and Outside Sales Manager in identifying and executing key budget objectives.
In cooperation with inside and outside sales teams, follow up on key open quotations and projects.
Monitor and communicate competitor activity, sales data, and product data with SMO and MU.
Participate in public relations events related to the market such as conferences, seminars, associations, and industry groups.
Assist the Market Development Manager in coordinating Tradeshows with Director of Marketing Americas, SMO Manager, and OSM.
Work closely with Market Development Manager in determining and setting pricing policies for the respective market with SMO Manager, OSM, Product Managers, and COEs.
Work with Product Managers and COEs to develop new products required to meet market demands.
Experience you will need:
BS or BA in engineering, sales, marketing, or business.
3-5 years of experience developing sales, account management, project management, and market development support.
Willingness to travel a must.
Strategic thinker with a track record of growing sales within markets.
Understanding of marketing concepts and strong customer relationship skills.
Project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Solid record in providing profit to the bottom line.
Knowledge of electrification products a plus.
Fluency in spoken and written Spanish a plus.
