Modern office setting Flexible working hours On-the-job training We are looking for a highly experienced Pilot (Driver) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional transportation services to our clients while ensuring their safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a keen focus on safety precautions maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 7-passenger van to transport clients to their desired destinations, including hotels, business centers, and other designated locations.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with their luggage, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or special requests.
Adhere to all traffic regulations, including speed limits and parking restrictions, to ensure the safety of passengers and fellow road users.
Maintain a clean and presentable van, both inside and outside, ensuring that it is well-stocked with necessary supplies, such as tissues, water bottles, and hand sanitizers.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills by efficiently navigating through various routes to avoid traffic congestion and unexpected road closures.
Communicate effectively with passengers, co-workers, and dispatchers using clear and professional language.
Keep accurate records of mileage, trip details, and passenger feedback to facilitate efficient reporting and analysis.
Perform regular inspections of the van, checking for any maintenance issues or safety concerns, and promptly report any problems to the appropriate department.
Continuously update knowledge of local traffic patterns, road construction, and alternate routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
DOT Certification Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a professional driver, specifically with 7-passenger vans or similar vehicles, is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick and sound decisions in challenging situations.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated commitment to safety precautions and knowledge of traffic regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Physical ability to load and unload luggage and assist passengers with mobility challenges.
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.
