Job Description:
Your Piece of the Puzzle As NFM's Inbound Transportation Supervisor you will supervise the planning and execution of all international shipments inbound to all NFM facilities; ensure efficiency in container load planning and optimization of inbound deliveries for all regions and supervise all international inbound transportation department administrative processes.
This is a remote postion requiring the candidate to reside in NE, IA, KS, MO or TX.

Manage provider performance using reporting, BI or Tableau tools, provider collaboration and continuous improvement processes Connect:
Establish relationship with internal customers, vendors, and carriers Teamwork:
Collaborate with supply chain staff & replenishment staff to ensure customer satisfaction with inbound international deliveries Direct:
Coordinate with international inbound providers to ensure container loads are balanced, tracked/traced along with flagged for exceptions as needed, focusing on efficiencies without compromising customer satisfaction Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love-because that's what we love.
Qualifications:
Can You Check These Boxes? Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience 2 years supervisory/management and load planning and capacity scheduling experience required 4 years' experience with:
transportation decision making with an eye towards tuning total cost, route/ lane efficiency and performance, speed, quality; transportation planning software including load optimization, lane decision making tools and ability to read/interpret maps Candidate must possess practical business knowledge of transportation industry standards, including DOT transportation regulations and regulatoryenvironment, and operational techniques for dispatching and shipment execution Ability to analyze economics of various options based on numerical data and contractual requirements Strong planning, time management, communication, and teamwork skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, drug screen and criminal background check #LI-REMOTE
