Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work independently to perform complex, and sometimes complicated technical maintenance duties to overhaul production machines, industrial machinery, and electrical/electronic equipment.
Will check work progress in the plant and provide verbal and written status reports to the supervisor.
We will provide the tools on-site that you will need to complete the assigned tasks.
Must be willing to work some overtime and weekends if required.
Pay DOE.
Core Responsibilities (some of but not limited to):
Ensure all assigned daily PMs are completed.
Ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
Aid other teams (Production, Quality- when needed).
Always follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Safety Practices.
Setup and visually inspect and tests machinery and equipment.
Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other personnel to diagnose problems or repair machine.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings gears, and other parts of machinery.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
US Citizen or Green Card holder HS diploma/equivalent required.
Some maintenance repair and troubleshooting preferable.
Willing to go to factory training to learn specific equipment and for certification.
Boiler Experience- Not necessary but preferred experience.
1-5 years of production maintenance experience.
