Job Title Duet, Program Development Specialist Hours Required 40 Job Description and Hours The Program Development Specialist, PDS, is a professional position that will work closely with the clinicians that complete Functional Behavior Assessments to build an train behavior support and safety plans based on the FBA.
Role Overview:
The Program Development Specialist (PDS) will work closely with clinicians that complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), to create behavior support and safety plans based on the FBA, and provide the necessary training to staff to implement these plans.

A Day in the Life:
Author all Behavior Support and Safety Plans and take a lead in training.
Develop and adapt curriculum for employee training that align with current best practices.
Be willing to be flexible with schedule and put in the necessary time to complete all duties.
Be actively involved with all program development and execution.
Including, but not limited to:
Partnering with Direct Support Professionals and Managers to correctly complete assessments and programs based on those assessments.
Assuring all goals meet SMART criteria.
Audit data being collected quarterly to ensure monthly goal reviews are being done in a timely manner and with accuracy.
Provider summary to Clinical Coordinator or designee.
Accept all other responsibilities as assigned.
For the success of this role and the safety of those we serve, we ask you demonstrate the following:
2 years of community-based service experienced preferred.
Bachelor's degree in human service field preferred.
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and all Agency required systems.
Must be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility, and travel independently to rural locations.
Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license, pass a driving record check and may, and have a car with state-required insurance for purposes of transporting persons in service.
