SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK Serves in the capacity to oversee the management of agency fleet and facility operations in close collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and perform critical agency-wide professional responsibilities requiring highly developed skills:
project management; change leadership; public speaking; problem-solving; and strategic thinking.
Will be responsible for managing multiple projects of strategic importance simultaneously.
Must be able to work independently with great attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external audiences and volunteers, especially board members.
Strong customer service skills are essential.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week Click to see benefits and company perks Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates special projects of strategic importance to the agency as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer including change projects occurring at the agency operational level.
Manage all HFS facilities to include third party vendor contract management, security, facility improvements, preventative maintenance, and office moves.
Oversight of maintenance ticket system and oversee key performance indicators for the department.
Responsible for facility maintenance to include oversight of the maintenance department.
Assist in establishing policies and procedures including general and preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and emergency operations, scheduling and prioritizing of work.
Provide input and oversight of Facility/Maintenance budget.
Provide leadership management on maintenance projects.
Assist in developing annual and long-range facilities maintenance plans.
Organize, manage, and conduct Risk Management activities in collaboration with the designated Leadership Team member.
Vehicle fleet management and fleet purchases to include coordination of inter-office deliveries, vehicle maintenance schedules, monthly monitoring of vehicle utilization, reports of vehicle damage and coordination of repair.
Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
Create, maintain, and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible to contribute to the agency's ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
Essential functions of this job are to be performed on company physical work site.
Performs other program related duties as assigned.
DENOTES ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Technical, Construction or related field.
Three years' experience in facility management or project management.
Experience using data to drive projects and decision-making.
Experience in developing and leading organizational change projects is preferred.
Large and small group facilitation experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Qualifications Experience Required 3 years:
Previous experience in facility management or project management.
