QA Automation Engineer - Job DescriptionThe Sr.
QA Automation Engineer is responsible for developing automated tests to verify technical and business requirements.
This role must be able to design and develop tests for applications using web, API and microservice platforms.
Job
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain the test automation framework and tests.
Design and maintain automation scripts to ensure reliable execution.
Support and mentor manual QA testing efforts in conversion to automated tests.
Participate in agile scrum to inject quality into the entire software delivery lifecycle.
Report and publish test results in test tracking tool(s).
Support the development and update of an automation test strategy.
Report, track, and manage any discovered defects to resolution.
Write and understand complex SQL queries and API requests to maintain test environments.
Provide details of defects to support timely resolution.
Collaborate within the application and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable test systems.
Works within established quality standards.
Develop and maintain automation test suites for web, API and microservice based applications.
Design, build, and test solutions to create highly reusable and stable test systems.
Provide technical and professional mentorship to your teammates.
Work with QA, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to discover priority tests.
Be a committed agile teammate who supports the team to reach their goals.
Participate in all agile ceremonies, including planning, pointing, demos, and retros.
Support and utilize the data ops delivery CI/CD pipeline and processes.
Support of architectural design choices and communication to the team standards.
Job
Qualifications:
Skilled in supporting Microsoft Azure DevOps Test Plans, Repos and Pipelines.
Skilled in creating deployment scripts to execute automated web, backend or API tests.
Skilled in Unit Tests - able to review and provide feedback on content and coverageIn depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience managing deliverables using Agile Project Methodologies.

5 or more years of backend/microservice/API testing experience.
Certification in quality testing practices.
2 or more years of experience of API testing with PostmanBachelor's degree in IT or certification(s) in test tool technologies.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
