What we're looking for The Maintenance Technician will support and sustain production equipment to continuously improve operations of production lines and complete Preventative Maintenance requests.
Accountable for machine down time and is involved in the OEE metric for each department and maintaining the entire plant's physical property.
What you'll need to be successful Supports manufacturing in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC related troubleshooting systems and equipment issues.
Works in a team environment and assumes a team role while being engaged in departmental problem-solving operations.
Learns to process and complete all Preventative Maintenance requests for the respective departments in a timely manner and according to training provided.
Production support of answering calls, assisting in changeovers and setups.
Uses tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments including any other shop tools and equipment.
Supports and drives all Lean Manufacturing goals, Including all 6S processes and good communication to the production teams and management.
Develop a customer/supplier relationship with the production teams.
Follows all safety guidelines and promotes safety in the work areas.

Knowledge of various equipment (drills, saws, hand tools, electronics, Welder torch) and a variety of maintenance equipment.
High attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative in the problem-solving process.
Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
Ability and willingness to successfully complete the 24-hour Haz Mat training refresher course provided by the company and adhere to appropriate procedures.
Understand, comprehend and comply with the Lock Out Tag Out procedures with all equipment, including fire extinguisher training and Hot Work sheets.
Understands mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, Digital Electronics, PLC trouble shooting, and applies knowledge and principles to trouble shoot electrical devises and read AC and DC circuits.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and supportive to meet changing work demands.
Strong communication and customer skills to maintain updates/status of department's equipment.
Three (3) years of Production Maintenance preferred.
3rd Grade Boiler License and/or PLC classes a plus.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree in electrical or mechanical field of study or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
