Remote Cloud Architect
Insight Global is hiring a multi-cloud architect to join their Information Technology Core Architecture team with our Fortune 250 construction client.
This person will be the sole team member responsible for determining which cloud platform to use for several internal teams needs.
They will gather the business requirements from the team, use that to determine the ideal process, outcomes, policies needed, cost analysis, structure.
They will then take that information back to the team and present the solutions available.
In their day to day, they will be participating in the daily stand up and meetings 20% of the time.
The remaining 80% of their time with doing their work to provide solutions for different teams.
The architecture team at this company is comprised of 20 people divided between several teams including the Solution Architect team, Enterprise team, and Business Enablement Team.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) entitlements and services - Willingness to work hybrid onsite Omaha, Kansas City, Denver, or Houston - 5
years of enterprise level multi-cloud architecture experience providing oversight and direction on a number of different projects revolving around Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud - This company uses Azure and.
NET but they want this person to be dynamic to be multi-cloud.
- Should come from an infrastructure architecture background - Should have familiarity of platforms, frameworks, networks, demilitarized zone (DMZ), express routes, Single Sign On (SSO), security such as Azure AD, Saviynt, or ISO/IEC 27001 or alternate Information Security Management System (ISMS) -Not an application or solution architecture background - Experience establishing cloud governance, standards, processes, and procedures - Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Visio -Soft skills:
-Awareness of new technologies and practices -Proactive initiative and communication -Ownership of their work -Ability to lead conversations, give formal presentations, and ask the right questions with:
