Investment Operations Associate

Job Description Job Description Role Profile Summary The Investment Operations Associate will be responsible for a wide variety of the financial planning and investment management services we provide for our clients.
In collaboration with all team members, this individual will focus on client service relationship management, responding to and submitting client service requests, preparing and submitting paperwork, and provide concierge level contact with our clients.
Additionally, the individual will work closely with the Portfolio Manager to support the management of investment accounts.
Core Responsibilities Manage the onboarding of investment clients by working with them to open accounts, trade, utilize online tools, facilitate transfers, and troubleshoot issues Service investment accounts by performing transactions as the clients need them and updating information Monitoring custodial and account alerts to properly identify servicing needs.
Receive incoming calls and emails; take messages, respond appropriately and route correspondence to the appropriate team member Handle requests, feedback, and queries quickly and professionally Maintain daily electronic journal/CRM database Analytical Support Coordinates client service requests between investments, planning and insurance teams Attends client meetings and takes detailed notes Analyze client information and prepares reports and presentations Enters client information into various systems including financial planning and CRM Completion and tracking of investment account paperwork and account opening Produce professional quality reports, presentations, and briefs Client Service:
Answer basic questions for clients of fields client calls Maintains information in CRM system.
Begins to sit in client meetings, taking notes and creating follow-up tasks Firm
Responsibilities:
Understand and support the firms vision, mission, and strategy Engage in teamwork and teambuilding and integrate int to the culture of the firm Participate in the completion of strategic initiatives and projects
Qualifications:
Minimum of two-years experience in the financial services or related industry with a concentration in financial planning, securities, insurance, or investment operations Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with major in finance, economics, accounting, financial planning, or related field FINRA Series 7 and series 63 (preferred or obtainable within 6 months on the job) Key Characteristics:
