Position Overview:
The BRM functions as a strategic business partner representingthe business division in all areas of IT.
They partner with businessstakeholdersas asingle point of focusand contacttoenable the best information technology solutionsthatalign withstrategic businessneeds.
Theyare astrategic,visionarythinker thatwillinfluencethe business demand for technology while sharing ownership of both business strategy and business results.
The ideal candidate will possess a diverse, highly prized set of skills and experiences within the functional areas of the business.
This BRM role will support Scoular's Petsource Business Unit along with our Corporate Functions including HR, Legal, Corporate Communications, Brand Marketing, Diversity, and Community Relations.

Responsibilities:
Partner with business leadership to identify, plan, and drivenewinitiatives that align withbusiness strategy.
Establish cadence with stakeholdersfor project updates, processopportunities, and ideation.
Develop adeep knowledge of division's business and processes.
Be creative and innovative with your knowledge of industry trendsanddigital advances as they relate to new opportunities andbusinessneeds.
Participate in division'sfunctional leadership meetings asacoremember.
Ensure alliance between division and enterpriseinitiatives.
Coordinate change management best practices to ensureeffective business transformation on all technologyinitiatives.
Confirm the right people are involved with all aspectsof the project lifecycle and communications.
Collaborate with IT team regarding initiatives and solutions under review for visibility and feedback.
Be the tools and technology expert for the division by staying current on industry trends and digital advances.
Collaborate with innovation and other leads to brainstorm opportunities.
Attend industry conferences as appropriate and share with stakeholders and IT those learnings.
Primary IT stakeholder on all projects within division.
Attend all project meetings to include ROI analysis, software demos, design, UAT, daily standups, etc.
Ensure that once project is completed, the division's goal was met, and that metrics are in place to drive desired performance.
RequirementsMinimum:
Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, MIS, or other relevant degree and 7
years of functional experience in the business.
Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit, as well as with leadership and functional teams.
Ability to map organizational vision, imagination, and idea generation.
Ability to identify gaps and areas that need improvement.
Ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods.
Ability and comfort with working at executive and VP levels.
Engage with IT to discuss and coach on strategic vision.
Strong communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting.
Ability to set expectations with business leaders.
An outside-in focus, an ability to design user-centric solutions.
Outstanding end customer/consumer support and relationship skills.
Preferred:
In-depth knowledge and experience in corporate operations and / or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
Able to negotiate priorities, resources, and timelines with stakeholders and IT teams.
They should possess strong negotiation skills to find win-win solutions and resolve conflicts effectively, balancing business needs and IT capabilities.
Able to identify opportunities for technology innovation, anticipate future needs, and provide input on strategic decision-making.
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, present IT proposals and business cases, and advocate for the value of IT solutions in achieving business objectives.
Understanding of financial concepts, such as budgeting, cost analysis, capital project planning and return on investment (ROI).
Able to analyze the financial impact of IT projects, justify investments, and demonstrate the business value of IT initiatives.
Proficient in project management methodologies and portfolio management practices to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage IT projects, ensuring they align with business priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver expected outcomes.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt, to bring innovative solutions and ideas to the organization.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
