Summary:
The Sales Development Representative is an entry-level business development role responsible for building and maintaining a robust and engaged community of Jet Linx members.
The Sales Development Representative is expected to achieve a pre-determined quota - Monthly Qualified Leads and Memberships originated - through a methodical process ranging from research to prospecting and qualification.
Additionally, there is a major emphasis on building trusted, personal relationships to ensure high engagement and drive referrals.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with operating partner to implement forward-thinking and innovative approaches to marketing, customer engagement, presentations, and negotiations.
Achieve monthly quota through qualified leads, setting up meetings, and originating deals.
Proactive lead generation through market research, outreach, networking, referrals, and personal relationships.
Build and manage pipeline and associated tasks.
Represent Jet Linx at community and business meetings, regional events, and conferences.
Utilize marketing content and sales collateral to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Activate and engage existing members to maximize flying activity and share-of-wallet vs.
competitors.
Research and identify prospective Jet Linx card members.
Utilize CRM to maintain pipeline and forecast revenue.
Collaborate with the Directors of Sales to transition qualified leads.
Act as a subject matter expert to assist the prospective member to appropriately recommend membership solutions to their needs.
Meet and greet current members and prospects for flights as needed.
Drive brand awareness through various marketing channels.
Demonstrate Jet Linx's core values and Supply the High in all interactions.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong ability in generating leads and filling the top of the funnel Aggressive hunter mentality and persistence in follow-through in a long-term sales cycle Exceptional presentation skills, comfortable in a boardroom setting Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the company and its customers Maintain a professional demeanor while performing in a competitive environment under pressure Ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative Ability to work both independently and as part of team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision Self-motivated and willingness to take initiative to research and resolve problems Ability to travel as needed Operate office equipment as needed Education and Work
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required 2 -3 years of sales experience, preferably in competitive, premium-priced fields such as Enterprise Software, Financial Information, Aviation or Luxury products and/or services Proven experience obtaining signatures on contracts and asking for money Prior high-end/executive level sales and public contact experience required Physical Requirements:
Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Able to complete physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to perform daily work functions Must be able to move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis Documentation Requirements:
