As an Event Operations Specialist on the Marketing Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of tradeshows and events.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing successful tradeshows and events to showcase Orion's products and services.
This role requires excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall success of each tradeshow and event.

In this role, you'll get to:
Set up and test audiovisual equipment, ensuring proper functionality for presentations, videos, and live demonstrations.
Provide technical support to presenters and speakers, assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth transitions between presentations.
Oversee the set up and dismantling of tradeshow booths.
Monitor booth activities, manage lead generation and customer engagement efforts, and handle any issues or challenges that arise during the event.
Serve as a point of contact for tradeshow and event participants, responding promptly to inquiries, providing information, and troubleshooting issues.
Offer exceptional customer service to ensure a positive and memorable experience for stakeholders and attendees.
Assist with attendee check-in, badge printing, and distribution of event materials.
Address stakeholder concerns or issues during events, resolving them in a professional and efficient manner.
Maintain accurate records of tradeshow and event details, including attendee information and feedback Assist in generating post-event reports, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement.
Contribute to the creation of tradeshow and event-related documentation, such as program summaries, standard operating procedures, and best practice guidelines.
Collaborate with event teams, and vendors to ensure effective coordination.
Support event managers in various tasks, such as managing computer inventory, updating photos/bios, and ordering and shipment of collateral.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, assisting teammates and sharing knowledge and best practices.
We're looking for talent who:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with event participants and team members.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in audiovisual equipment setup, troubleshooting, and familiarity with event management software and registration platforms.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of event support.
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle unexpected situations or challenges during events.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Obtain Orion Industry Certification Proven experience (typically 2
years) in an event support role #LI-AP1 Salary Range:
$53,633.
00 - $78,768.
00 The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
