Provide a variety of financial transactions involving the receipting and/or disbursing of funds.
Work involves constant and direct interaction with credit union members.
Requires the ability to record information accurately and communicate effectively.
Work will be performed on the teller station or at the drive-through windows.
Essential Functions &
Responsibilities:
Provide the following services for members, in person, by telephone or by mail; Process various transactions to include; deposits to share, share draft and other savings account, process loan payments, or disburse cash or check withdrawals.
Process transfers between accounts when requested.
Provide travel/gift cards, counter checks, Visa cash advances.
Process payroll change distribution forms, record allotments according to the member's request and assist members to accurately make changes.
Daily open and close teller drawer, account for cash assigned, received and disbursed.
Accurately balance to teller drawer close report.
Ensure checks are ready for imaging by cut-off time.
Respond to member inquiries regarding the operation of accounts (i.
e.
, Savings, Checking, Money Market accounts, etc.
).
Assist members with additional services such as PC Banking, Mobile Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, Estatements, etc.
Have product knowledge of all accounts offered.
Cross-sell additional services to help achieve credit union goals.
Perform such other duties as assigned from time to time, including but not limited to:
address changes, filing, processing mail and assisting employees in other departments as required.
