As a driver, you must have a valid driver's license, safe driving record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules and regulations.
In this position, you will use GPS and maps to navigate the best routes.
You will also maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.
Driver duties and
Responsibilities:
Practice safe driving habits Accurately follow routes, maps and directions Safely load and secure residents into the van Safely unload residents at destination Stay with resident when an escort is needed Keep vehicle maintained, replace oil, fill gas tank.
Perform general motor maintenance.
Keep interior and exterior clean and clear of clutter and debris Follow schedule and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion.
Driver requirements:
Able to follow verbal directions, read maps, follow GPS Able to work well alone and manage time Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties Able to adapt to changing schedules of routines Excellent time management skills Able to assist passengers when needed Organize and able to follow a schedule Focused on customer service Positive attitude and professional demeanor Physically able to lift and carry object up from 30 to 50 pounds Physically able to bend, stretch, reach and sit for long periods of time Previous professional experience needed
