In this role, you'll provide strategic and tactical guidance to business unit leaders and employees, primarily in the areas of performance development, employee relations, employee engagement, recruiting, and the new hire experience.
Our HR team provides shared service support to both MD West ONE and Midwest Surgical Hospital.
We're hiring an HRBP to provide dedicated support to the MD West ONE business unit.
An ideal candidate will possess a current working knowledge of the HR function, build trusted and strong relationships, role-model professionalism, and be able to mediate complex employee matters.

Primary
Responsibilities:
Strategically partner with assigned business unit leaders, provide coaching related to HR matters and initiatives, advocate for employees and their development, and contribute to initiatives in performance, talent, recognition, and engagement.
Partner closely with business unit leaders to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provide support to other business units, as needed.
Partner with the Human Resources Director to enhance the performance development process; create tools and job aids to assist business unit leaders.
Drive employee engagement efforts for assigned function, including surveys, communication, and action planning.
Provide guidance to business unit leaders in the areas of performance development, employee relations and holding employees accountable.
Provide employee relations guidance to employees.
Mediate and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Conduct thorough and objective investigations, provide recommended follow-up actions, and execute on any needed actions, as necessary.
Facilitate the separation and termination process for assigned function, treating impacted employees with dignity and respect.
Consult with business partners on organizational design, as well as workforce and career/succession planning.
Work with hiring managers to assess departmental staffing needs and make recommendations.
Support the recruiting process; partner with hiring managers to interview and select top talent.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a robust and consistent new hire experience.
Conduct new hire orientation for employees of assigned function.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure a successful onboarding experience.
Focus on continuous improvement efforts to ensure a consistent and extraordinary new hire experience.
Assist with the development of personnel policies and procedures.
Develop job descriptions, as needed, and help ensure consistency across the organization.
Propose and drive special projects, initiatives or programs that drive business results and/or positively impact the employee experience.
Drive employee recognition and social efforts for assigned function.
Assist the Human Resources Director with the creation of a companywide employee recognition program.
Partner with Human Resources Director to use HCM for efficiencies and to meet staff and organizational needs.
Assist in maintaining HR section of the intranet.
Assist the Human Resources Director, as needed, and complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Serve as a role model in the organization and champion organizational culture and best practices.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Demonstrate utmost confidentiality with company and employee information and records.
Focus on professional development and maintaining current HR knowledge.
Qualifications:
5 years of related HR Business Partner or Generalist experience, required.
Experience resolving complex employee relations matters, required.
Recruiting and interviewing experience, preferred.
Experience with HCM's, a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources, required.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, preferred.
Valid Nebraska Driver's License, required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization and serve as a trusted, high touch business partner.
Ability to listen effectively, as well as strong communication skills.
Must demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy to resolve sensitive issues.
Ability to coach and advise, where appropriate, to help business unit leaders and employees grow and develop in alignment with personal and business goals.
Demonstrate strong judgment and analytical skills necessary to investigate complaints and recommend solutions.
Ability to design and execute programs that meet the needs of the organization.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet deadlines.
Maintain regular attendance.
Ability to reach with hands and arms to operate office equipment.
Ability to travel to clinic locations, as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
