Responsibilities:
Efffectively lead the Business Office and ensure timely and accurate billing, financial accountability and other assigned business operations such as:
Timely establish financial accountability at every admission PASARR screenings Resolve pending cases for government payor coverage Bill Medicaid & Medicare for all covered services provided Bill VA and Hospice for all covered services provided Monthly close of SNF books Manage resident trust accounts Effectively manage budgeting , performance and policies within the department Requirements:
Associates Degree in Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or Business Management or High School Diploma with 2 years of Business Office experience in and/or related to healthcare billing.
Current knowledge of accounts receivable management, basic accounting procedures, insurance/third party billing procedures & computerized office system operations.
Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility, or assisted living community with medicare/medicaid billing procedures- Preferred.
