The rate of pay will be $38,000 per year, calculated for a 40-hour work week.
Hours variable - 40 hours a week - This is a salary non-exempt, non-administrative position.
All hours worked over 40 in a week (Sunday to Saturday) will be paid at time and a half.
The Direct Care Professional (DCP) provides:
In-home, non-medical services for people of all ages Care to clients whose regular caregiver is not available Care to assist with covering shift that have not been assigned A DPC is a confident caregiver and has experience to provide care to any client We train so there is familiarity between both client and caregiver Shifts and clients will change from day to day to ensure client's receive approved services Traveling to clients' homes is required and traveling to multiple clients' homes may be required within the same day The DCP works in office environment answering phone calls and works to maintain records, charts, and other assigned duties when not in the field This position has variable hours based on the Operations needs Office Administrative Duties Assist with answering the phone and document information in WellSky as appropriate.
Arrange transportation schedule for client, ensuring that needs are met.
Remain available to be on call when scheduled.
Participate in monthly meetings, additional trainings, and other events.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance Must possess your own reliable vehicle to transport clients Must have regular access to the internet and email, cell phone is required.
Must be able to communicate proficiently with clients Must be 19
years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Bilingual proficiency preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Compassionate (empathy & patience) Dependable (reliable & trustworthy) Communication (respectful listener) Function independently in a home setting with minimal supervision Job Type:
