POSITION OVERVIEW The Product Owner, Finance is responsible for product planning and technical project/task execution of key initiatives for products that support the Finance Team's portfolio. The Product Owner is the voice of the customer, representing internal stakeholders and the Product Manager when driving prioritization of their backlog. The Product Owner will solve business problems by analyzing business needs, understand and map/document the necessary business requirements, investigating potential solutions, and ensuring the successful launch of new products and features. The ideal individual candidate will be able to build, manage and facilitate roadmap to ensure that our financial capabilities are aligned with current and future business needs based on the customers data points and industry trends. The Finance Product Owner will facilitate discussions and take the lead in the execution tasks that help the organization provide best in class solutions to support our Finance department's needs. DISTRICT OVERVIEW Kiewit Technology Group's (KTG) mission is to deliver project schedule and cost certainty by employing technology designed by and for the construction industry. Our team deploys apps to the field that increase profitability by maximizing the way we use our people and resources in daily operations. KTG uses the Kiewit Management System (KMS), which includes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewit's business and lifecycle of a project, to improve planning and day-to-day execution in the field by giving our people real-time data to make faster, smarter decisions. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. RESPONSIBILITIES Be a subject matter expert (SME) regarding the Finance business processes and the capabilities/limitations of Financial products and understand the downstream effects to align with various processes that flow into the Financial Portfolio Manage the product strategy and roadmap for assigned solutions. Prioritize the release of new features with corresponding justifications Solve problems, make decision an prioritize billing-related backlog items (epics/features/user stories) Ensure technology offerings align with business goals and objectives. Advocate for solutions to promote adoption Manage solutions through concept, design, beta release, testing, production, promotion, transition to support and finally product end of life Demonstrate passion regarding quality, value and ability to provide an excellent customer experience Work with third parties to optimize existing vendor partnerships and assess potential future opportunities Manage work commitments in an agile environment by writing user stories, prioritizing the backlog and accepting the team's work Coordinate with business units to test and evaluate the new or updated applications and features Maintain relevant knowledge and skills through self-study and participation in educational opportunities Lead in product readiness and the rollout of new products and features by producing end-user training material and marketing communications regarding product Address business related questions and training directly with end users Work cross-functionally and with other product teams to ensure decisions are in alignment with the overall portfolio strategy QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years' experience in an Information Technology, or Finance related role Demonstrated success at defining business needs conducting vendor analysis and launching successful products. Understanding of and experience with the software development life cycle Understanding of Finance processes Understanding of the Agile Framework Ability to recognize, assess, and mitigate risks to committed deliverables and timelines Able to clearly communicate progress and risk to all levels of leadership Ability to analyze and document complex business processes Ability to make effective decisions under pressure Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information Excellent organization and time-management skills Bonus Points:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Finance preferred Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner in a technology setting Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred but not required Experience with agile software development practices Experience with SAP or similar ERP software #LI-KM Additional Requirements:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
