Description SAIC is seeking a Product Owner in support of the U.
S.
Air Forces Technology, Application, Development, and Sustainment Program (TADS) is modernizing the Department of Defenses premier weather data center, providing environmental intelligence throughout the globe.
Our team is developing and sustaining the systems key to the Air Forces global weather analysis and forecasting mission in Omaha, Nebraska.
The adoption of modern DevSecOps practices is a top-priority, and we are looking for self-starters who seize the initiative and are willing to lean-forward and help integrate new solutions into this complex enterprise.
The Product Owner will act as a servant leader to the team, remove impediments, provide subject matter expertise, help shape product vision, prioritize backlog utilizing the theory of constraints, facilitate team collaboration, and provide product feedback within an empowered, cross-functional team.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following Growth Mindset Self-Starter Servant Leadership Grit Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND Bachelors and 5 years of experience or more Ability to communicate and have crucial conversions concerning aspects such as priority Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean) Core understanding of the Theory of Constraints Ability to shape Epics and Stories and corresponding acceptance criteria Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery concepts and enabling tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Ansible Must have or be able to obtain CompTIA Security
or 8570 IAT II equivalent Must have active TS/SCI Clearance Covid SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
