The Deputy Program Manager will provide senior leadership to the United States Strategic Command Information Technology and Logistics Support (SCITLS) contract located in Omaha, Nebraska.
The SCITLS DPM is responsible for supporting the SCITLS Program Manager with the overall management of day-to-day operations of the contract overseeing all task activities in support of the Combatant Command.

The SCITLS DPM will have solid organizational skills and be able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and orally.
This includes presenting concepts, ideas, and status updates in a professional business-like manner.
The SCITLS DPM will be required to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment that requires solid leadership skills, team interaction and coordination of efforts in support of a rapidly changing Enterprise IT Environment, balancing day-to-day IT Service Delivery with long term strategy roadmaps, technology insertion and an aggressive innovation implementation.
The SCITLS DPM will bring strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement skills, and be comfortable interfacing with external and internal leaders up to the General Officer/GS-15 level.
Externally, the DPM will interface and work with executive leaders and branch directors.
Internally, the DPM will report to the SCITLS Program Manager; interface and coordinate with the SCITLS Program Management Office (PMO); and be responsible for leading and managing operations in the absence of the PM.
The SCITLS DPM manage and oversee IT Service Delivery to include meeting all performance metrics/ Service Level Agreements (SLAs); assist in planning and implementing the J6 strategic roadmap and driving innovation initiatives; proactively responding to Government issues, concerns, and comments; and alerting the Government of potential mission, contractual, program, and resource limitation issues.
The SCITLS DPM will be responsible for recruiting, staffing and retention; ensuring deliverables are submitted on time and to standard; Quality Assurance and Quality Control; developing technical documents and price proposals for request for proposals (RFPs); identifying mission area gaps and developing solutions to mitigate; executing the external Stakeholder Engagement Plan to build trust and establish and sustain a solid relationship with our executive level customer base.
The SCITLS DPM will establish and maintain positive relationships with clients' senior-level managers, develop overall strategy, tactics and goals for the SCITLS program and coordinate with the PM on financial related activities associated with USSTRATCOM and other proposals.
The SCITLS DPM will work with third-party vendors, organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions and manage teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
The SCITLS DPM will maintain and manage the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization, meet with Government and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items and ensure conformance with program task scope, schedules, and costs.
The SCITLS DPM will manage task order personnel, project schedules, and finances, hire qualified staff members, coordinate operational activities with external and internal teammates or government groups, handle personnel issues as needed.
The SCITLS DPM will be responsible for ensuring that personnel receive adequate guidance and direction for performing their daily tasks and will be responsible for developing/presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, and preparing project status reports as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts / Science from an accredited college or university in a course of study that is substantially useful in managing large, complex information technology (IT) programs.
TS clearance with eligibility for SCI at time of proposal submission.
15 years of experience in managing and leading geographically dispersed staff of varying skill levels.
Proven exceptional customer and client relationship building and management skills.
Inspirational leadership style.
Demonstrated ability to build success-oriented relationships across customer communities.
Be strong at problem-solving and conceptual thinking.
Possess the capability to lead strategic growth in a challenging forward-thinking environment.

Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of five years of experience with IT Service Delivery using an ITIL/ITSM framework similar in size, scope, and complexity to the requirements of this program.
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in a course of study that is substantially useful in managing large, complex information technology (IT) programs.
Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PgMP), or PMI Program Management Professional (PMP), or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Manager Level III.
