Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews - Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate recordkeeping - Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations - Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees - Provide support in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures - Assist with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions - Conduct training sessions on various HR topics for employees and managers - Assist with Employee engagement and retention - Stay up-to-date on changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures - Proficient in using data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping - Experience with accounting software and financial concepts related to payroll processing - Familiarity with tax regulations and reporting requirements - Excellent 10-key typing skills for data entry accuracy - Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus - Experience with Ceridian or other payroll software is a plus This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
