Manufacturing Plant Manager

Thomas Creek Woodworks is a leading manufacturing plant specializing in wood cabinet components for cabinetmakers across the United States.
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to join our team.
As the Plant Manager, you will lead and grow our production teams.

Responsibilities Lead all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, inventory management, quality control, and cost optimization.
Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall performance through the application of lean manufacturing principles.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational processes.
Manage and optimize production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to customers.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Build and develop a high-performing team by providing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance individual and collective skills.
Set performance goals, evaluate employee performance, and provide regular feedback to drive employee engagement and professional growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and finance, to align operational strategies with organizational objectives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational targets and objectives.
Develop and manage the plant budget, controlling costs and expenses to maximize profitability.
Requirements Must value and demonstrate honesty, integrity, and respect for others.
Must be fanatical about continuous improvement and lean thinking.
Must be self disciplined and lead by example.
Training and experience in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
Wood manufacturing is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated experience managing teams and developing individual employees.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication with team members, owners, vendors, and customers.
Benefits Salary with incentives based on experience starts at $150,000 /yr.
